Renee Masoomian collaborated w/ Lotus Cake Studio to participate in the Sweet Charity, a benefit for The Heart of America Foundation that combines service learning and literacy to support the needs of at-risk children.

The Kimono and obi are sweetened with sugarpaste cherry blossoms, and the geta and parasol are flavorfully adorned with applique and sculpted blossoms. Renee and Dean love Japanese culture through and through. Dean doesn’t like those Takashi Miyaki movies that Renee is so fond of and thinks that the equally eerie, but drastically different, Kwaidan just might be the very best ghost stories ever portrayed on film.
